I have a weekly meeting preparing us for our study abroad in Rome this summer.  We focus on history primarily but also talk about the food, language and culture and practice sketching.

Animal Necklaces

Attempt 1

I wanted to make some small animals out of paper mache to hang on the end of necklaces.
The only problem is that they are so small that its hard to form their bodies into
definitive shapes without letting it look like a blob.  I ended up using twigs to form the body,
paper mache wrapped with wire and hot glue to hold it all together... so after that,
I moved onto my second idea....

Attempt 2

So instead of going to all the hassle, just go to your local toy shop and buy
an adorable rubber animal, spray paint it gold, stick a little hook in its back
 ...... et VOILA.... INSTANT NECKLACE!!
